2004 Season - Week 10
Trading Day 2 is this Sunday at 3:30pm.
With 18 players still to play in the Sunday and Monday Night match ups here is the preliminary order for dropping duds and signing stars this weekend. To demonstrate the importance of trading, after week 4 Dave G was the first to trade being the lowest scorer of the 16 owners and 30 points below the relegation line. Since trading, Dave G has had a Hall of Fame weekend and is currently out of the drop zone. Paul will be the first up to drop all of the players he wants to cut followed by Cheryl and so on through to Wayne. Once all players have been dropped we will enjoy some fine food from Cheryl followed by a round-by-round replacing of the cut players again starting with Paul then Cheryl and on through to Wayne. Once all the trading has happened we will settle down to see the Detroit @ Minnesota followed by Atlanta @ NY Giants. The provisional trading order is:-
1 Paul, 2 Cheryl, 3 Andy H, 4 John, 5 Dave G, 6 David S, 7 Aaron, 8 AP,
9 Marcus, 10 Mark, 11 Ron, 12 Daz, 13 Johnny, 14 Phil, 15 Chief, 16 Wayne.
The list of additional available players who have scored this season but were not on the original player salary list will be sent out on Thursday once we’ve seen Sunday & Monday Nights Games. Remember if you are cutting a Franchise player you still have to pay him for the remainder of the contract. If you are coming over please let us know by Friday so Cher can do the catering. If you are not coming over but want to make changes email me how you intend to do this (email/phone/letter/proxy etc). If you are not changing anybody you are still very welcome to come over and enjoy the evening.
Rewriting History.
Having checked all the scores in preparation for moving on into the third and final part of the season an error in Phil’s week 8 score was noticed. He’d been awarded 6 points for his head coach Marvin Lewis but Cinci actually lost to Tennessee. This points loss had big consequences. Firstly to Phil who now has a week 8 score of 47 and so having been invited into the Hall of Fame must now be shown the door. It also affected our overall total which dropped to 502 - the 4th best average ever (down from 3rd).
BUMS on Seats.
